VISTA & CENGAGENOW!
As a student enrolled in an online course, you can expect to devote anywhere from 20-40+ hours a week completing assignments. The workload in this course is compatible to that of a traditional Math 95 on-campus course, but without the face-to-face meetings or lectures. You are expected to make up for this missing lecture time by completing assigned reading and tutorial exercises. Since this course is designated fully online, there will be no required on-campus lectures or meetings.
First of all, an important disclaimer – while every effort has been made to make the course and its accompanying materials easily accessible to you, there is still quite a bit of “orientation” work left for you to do on your own. This includes, but is not limited to, an online orientation with the tools and functions of both the Vista and CengageNOW! system. Ample help is available online for those who may need it in the form of live technical support and step-by-step tutorials, so make sure you take advantage of these important resources.
Obtain a CengageNOW! student account by going to http://www.ilrn.com (or just click on the CengageNOW! weblink in the Vista portal) and click on “create an account.” When prompted, enter the Course Key E-257EY3MZVFX46.
